THANK YOU!
With the completion of your 2023 tax return behind us, we want to thank you for your reliance on our services.
As they say, the only certain thing is change, and that is definitely true in the tax world. Members of Congress propose legislation changing our tax laws every year. Of course, with legislation, nothing is certain. We are committed to assisting you as tax laws evolve. We will monitor developments and keep you informed of items that may affect your tax situation.
Again, we appreciate your business. Also, we are honored when clients refer others to us for assistance.
MYPATH
The PA Department of Revenue has expanded the services that they offer through their online portal system, MyPath. While a MyPath profile is required for certain services offered, there are many valuable resources that can be accessed without a log in. For example, without an account, a taxpayer can make return payments, estimated tax payments and extension payments for individuals, fiduciaries and partnerships. Additionally, a taxpayer can submit correspondence to respond to a PA notice, check the status of a refund and track their tax payments and credits. Even without an account, taxpayers have a valuable resource that can save time and the hassle of calling the PA Department of Revenue.
MEMORIAL DAY
On Monday, May 27, 2024, our office will be closed in observance of Memorial Day, a national holiday. It is a day of remembering the people who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. It originated after the American Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died, but by the 20th Century, it had been extended to honor all Americans who have died in wars. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 28 at 8:30 AM.
SUMMER HOURS
Our modified office hours for the summer season will start on Friday, May 24, 2024, and will be in effect until Tuesday, September 3.
Monday through Thursday we will be open form 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM and closed all day on Fridays.
CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEES
Starting July 1, 2024, we will be implementing a 1.5% charge to the
credit card payments of our invoices. This is necessary to help defray
the rising cost of the credit card processing fees.
