Baum, Smith, & Clemens, LLP, the Harleysville based accounting and business advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Joshua Lerch, CPA, has successfully completed the LEAD Indian Valley Community Leadership Institute Program, sponsored by the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce. Designed for business and nonprofit executives or emerging leaders, the LEAD IV curriculum has a specific emphasis on developing self-awareness and identifying the skills needed to successfully lead teams. In addition to attending classes, Mr. Lerch also completed a project that required him to lead a team at our firm to implement or improve one of our current processes. His undertaking involved modifying and improving our internal year end payroll return and 1099 processes. The course lasted for eight months, starting in September 2022, and concluding with graduation on May 17, 2023. Josh lives in Pottstown, PA.
