Reminder for ALL business owners - the due date to file Form 1099-NEC is January 31, 2025. 1099-NEC’s MUST be prepared and furnished to any non-incorporated vendor who rendered services in 2024 totaling $600 or more.
If you would like BSC’s assistance with preparation, please provide the following information to us as soon as possible about each vendor:
1. Name
2. Address
3. EIN/SSN
4. Total payments for service in 2024
Filing for Form 1099-INT will also be due on 1/31. Other similar forms such as 1099-MISC will be due shortly thereafter in February.
Reminder that only businesses and self-employed individuals carry this filing requirement. Individuals not associated with a business need not file.
